Elegant teardrop bouquet for Charlene's wedding to Prince Albert
For her wedding to Prince Albert of Monaco Charlene carried a modern version of a traditional teardrop wedding bouquet. The bouquet echoes the lavish bouquet of Princess Diana – but on a much smaller scale to reflect the elegant simplicity of Charlene’s wedding gown. It also reflects a growing trend for simple wedding bouquets as in the wedding bouquets of Princess Kate and Kate Moss.
The bouquet was designed by Armani (who designed her gown) and made by the Palace florists. It was made of singapore orchids, freesias and lily-of-the valley. The lily-of-the valley was a tribute to Princess Grace who married it in her wedding bouquet.
